| Who doesn't love angels? Yes, stories of divine beings messing with the lives of humans are pretty common but it's so hard not to like them. To be frank, my biggest influence/inspiration for this story was from Ah! Megami-sama (Ah my Goddess) and CLAMP's Wish. I just loved all those bangles and trinkets they wore. And don't forget wings <3 In October 23, 2003 I had just doodled a germ of an idea about an angel halfling searching for its half, only to find the half with a mind of its own and an attitude to boot. The darkling was the easiest to conceptualize followed by the Halfling itself. Then I decided to cut from a stereotypical guy/girl-meets-divine-one-and-falls-in-love, I made 12-year old Zeke. What I also liked about Ah my Goddess and Wish is that the story didn't revolve around some apocalyptic war between heaven and hell, so I'm planning to go through a kind of family-oriented comedy, mystery and one or two demons and angels thrown into the mix. I'm not doing a heaven-hell war, but I sure want some skirmishes! Updates. This is my first webcomic so some pages are bound to change in terms of quality as I progress. Add to that, I'm horrible when it comes to time-management but finicky with pages, so there's bound to be consecutive weeks of no updates (so sorry). But rest assured that I don't plan on quitting this comic until it's properly finished. (I could go on periods of hiatuses but no quits for me!) Nor will I go 'omg ugly first chapter! REVISE!' I really don't plan on doing anything with this webcomic like publishing it, so revising the chapters again and again is a waste of time. This comic is my stepping stone/trial run to doing real comics in the future, so I like seeing the progress of my abilities in the pages. |
